Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account on postme.live or using the service, you agree to these terms and to the master Outback Yak Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The service

postme.live helps individuals and businesses publish to multiple social platforms from a single workspace, with AI-assisted captioning. The service is provided as is, may evolve, and may have downtime — we'll do our best to give notice for planned maintenance.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when signing up (including a real name).
• You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• You may connect third-party platform accounts (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, custom webhooks). You must have authority to publish to those accounts.
• We store the OAuth tokens you grant us, encrypted at rest. You can disconnect any account at any time from Settings → Connected accounts.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use postme.live to:

• Publish content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, harassing, or deceptive.
• Spam, mass-post, or otherwise violate the terms of any connected platform.
• Reverse engineer the service, probe for vulnerabilities, or interfere with other users.
• Use the service to operate a competing product.

Violations may result in account suspension or termination at our discretion. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these terms.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of media and copy you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, process, and transmit it for the purpose of operating the service — including generating thumbnail variants, AI captioning, and publishing to your connected accounts. We don't use your content to train models or for any purpose other than delivering the service to you.

6. Plans and billing

The current free tier has usage limits which we may adjust. Paid plans, when offered, will be priced in Australian Dollars and billed in advance per the plan you select. GST is excluded unless otherwise stated. We may suspend service for materially overdue accounts after notice.

7. Third-party services

The service depends on third parties — Clerk for sign-in, Cloudflare R2 for media storage, the platforms you connect (Meta, TikTok, YouTube), OpenRouter for AI captioning, and others. Their terms apply to their portions of the service. We choose providers carefully but are not responsible for their outages.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, that we're legally required to terminate, or that have been inactive for an extended period. On termination, we'll delete your data per our Privacy Policy.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of postme.live is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or AUD 100 if no fees were paid. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
